We came from Baudette, and drove west to Red River Valley.
It was flat as a pancake, no trace of a valley
 
We were recieved by Shirley and Wally Bjornson.
Wally (Harald) is a second cousin of Berit.

Her sister Emly Lovise (1892-1941) stayed in Norway. 
Emly Lovise was Berit's grandmother

On the hillside south of town there was made a big sundial,
 or a sun calendar of stones in a ring

Vi stayed overnight by Wally and Shirley.
Early next morning we drove east again towards the sun

There we came down a nice little hollow

The grave of Hanna and Benjamin Bjørnsen. They got married in 1907. Ben was from Rekefjord, Rogaland, Norway. 
His mother was from Korshavn in Lyngdal

There were greater fields then back home in Norway

At Minneapolis airport we were met by Chuck and Gina.
It is good to have nice relatives.  Thank you all for your most kindhearted hospitality!
