Planning the tour

I used the Internet, checking destinations, travel sites and did many tours in my fantacy -
When we should travel so far, we might do several stops on our way: - Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, California, Minnesota, Chicago, Florida, New York, Boston?
I also wanted different sorts of adventures, - family reunions, visiting friends, hotel stay, village stay, great landscapes, sightseeing, relaxing, hired car, taxi, coach, railway, plane - 
The scetch ended up like this: - seeing relatives on New Zealand, relaxing on Fiji, and sightseeing and vistiting friends in USA.

We bought a Lonely Planet guide for Fiji and New Zealand, and a map and guide for New York

Berit also started planning. She signed us in to My Planet Norway, Australia New Zealand Friendship Society. It costs 125 NOK,  and you get a magazin each quarter with many useful travelling tips and offers.
She checked what we would need of vaccinations, and ordered them. Three of us needed new tetanus vaccine for Fiji.
She also wrote to different travel agencies and got price offers.
